"Breaking Up is Hard to Do!!"

February 21st Benefit Concert

Pikes Peak Opera League announces a supper club musical event to benefit Opera Theatre of the Rockies' upcoming opera, Verdi's masterpiece, Aida. The evening features songstress extraordinaire, Lila Mori with Reggie Berg at the piano, straight from the Penrose Room at the Broadmoor offering a private performance entitled "Breaking Up is Hard to Do." Ms. Mori has sung across the region both in the Colorado Opera Festival Chorus, and as a soloist with The Colorado Springs Chorale, among her most notable performances.

The event is scheduled for Wednesday evening, February 21 at 5 pm at the Patty Jewett Clubhouse, 900 East Espanola Street, Colorado Springs. There will be a social hour with cash bar and silent auction. Guests will enjoy a food buffet, followed by Ms. Mori's performance. Tickets are $50 for adults and $40 for students. $20 is tax deductible.
